POPPIES FALL I watch the clock just turning Turning hand across its' hand And watch the bonfire burning And waves upon the sand I watch the clouds go sailing Across a pale blue sky And hear the seagulls wailing As over cliffs they fly I watch the sun just setting A red glow up on high And yes it is upsetting When someone close does die But ev'ry day's a new day Bringing hope again to all But November, I remember When the poppies fall. |

The cycle of life in its completeness. Much enjoyed. Michael |
