Fragile is the heart of remember |

Forsaking logic for lyric, a heart interrupted, vacant as sycamores grieve of their greens, the nests of late summer morph into dark scarlet cinders, and roses retreat in their red ribbon caskets. As runaway chimes and cobblestone dancers trip on their moment of shine, strung out on stars, far, you can still startle me with unexpected etchings of your manhood If only to turn from these moments of sighs, where miles of lush pasture collapse into love's greatest graveyards, where barely a robin ventures for respite or accolades But o so lonesome for you, stays me, driving this falling to knees, as the timing of songs recall the shout of your name, in bold lettered marquise, when lesser suitors now dim or rust in mere whisper, never to maim, lacerate, or to puncture, in such the depth of your rapture, upon this still fragile heart of remember. Your last stanza says it all. Though you seems to not be able to stay with him, his skill at giving you what you desired, but backing off at the crucial time speaks volumes. You are working through your pain with your poetry. THAT is a good way to go. ~*~ Your past is just a story. Once you realize this, it has no power over you. ~*~ |

EmmaRose, I ache for your pain, but you clothe it in Nature’s most exquisite garments so sensitively, that I feel guilty for enjoying the art and excellence, though regretting the emotions you went through to paint this masterful cameo. Owl |

Marvelous! You're imbuing pain with beauty in your words, and isn't that the reason we make deathless art [that and to communicate something]? Incredibly well written. |
