Bleak November Tonight a violent, bitter wind stirs the deep, dark woods beneath a frosty midnight moon with the outside world awash in cold silver as the last Autumn leaves rain against the window; and a few ragged, purposeless clouds race by to destinations uncertain. It is an eve for Summer thoughts, a stone-fire hearth, and candle-lit dreaming of my one true love, though far away, to chase the Wintry chill of body, mind, heart, and spirit as bleak November comes early. --- b. e. adams (10/19/2013) |

I know that bleak November, but there is beauty in its starkness, the barest of branches against the blackest of nights, and you do know this too |

The most beautiful weather report, I have ever read, Bruce. I just know that she reads it too. Owl |
