ahhh . . . I am just a guy grown into a man insignificant except to a select few the nights spent on the bayou speaks to me softly swelling my heart with satisfaction and pleasure the vastness of star-enveloped nights as I gaze upward and watch the stars write across the sky a name written . . . not known to me but I understand someone somewhere is watching my own name being written in a foreign sky he, like I becomes mesmerized and so we are beyond doubt brothers (c)October 10, 2013 / Jerry at Bolton ~*~ I want to hear a Jim Croce song, but it will cut too deep, be too real. ~*~ |

I tip my hat to all the stargazers out there. That was always one of my favorite pastimes when I lived in the mountains. I can barely see the stars at all in this smog pit I'm living in now. There is sooo much the stars say to those willing to see, and who can see. I'm envious. Michael |

Of course I'm not your brother (in any sense), Jerry, but I could be your sister since we both love the starry sky above us ![]() Lovely poem! |
