for this moment I am and you are and that’s enough albeit in the light of day we have probably been here too long practicing our expressions in the mirror trying to eliminate the imperfections that appear out of nowhere we are not exactly perfect nor is life that is unavoidable and like gypsy’s it moves on like the ghosts of our aspirations clouding the mirror it gives the impression of sleepwalking but sleep is too little too late too many voices keep you awake it becomes more or less obvious amnesia is always a possibility perhaps, just perhaps we don’t need each other anymore |

Amnesia sometimes gives us a place to hide.. Ask anyone that uses zen in their lives, to clear their minds. But the real question here is the idea of not needing our others anymore. Everyone in a long term relationship has asked themselves this question. "perhaps, just perhaps we don’t need each other anymore" Everything depends on how this is answered. Good poetry opens my eyes, think I'll go and tell my wife I need, and love her. "It is difficult |

Need is a funny thing. It is not always the roaring, ever present constant in the front of our thoughts. Sometimes, it is a quiet murmur that hums in the background. |

Thank you for all your comments they are appreciated. Need is sometimes seen as want and want sometimes need, it's a fine line inbetween often unrecognised. It can then leave us clinging to what? Something, nothing, anything, and then in limbo, the question does not always have an answer. |
