DRAWSTRINGS 8 January 2013 I hear your words in the branches that knock on my roof in the night while the wind won’t let you go. I feel your arms trying to hold back as your eyes pierce mine, just out of reach. I know your presence in every sense of the word as we turn away from each other with slow, heavy steps our parting as discordant as the rumbling dirge in our hearts. Owl Something I couldn't post at the time. |

I can truly feel the pushing forward and pulling back effect going on, the suspense of the branch as to the leaves' departure I enjoyed very much |

Thank you for reading, enjoying and commenting, EmmaRose. However, this was about me and a man leaving each other - and the branches and leaves were just the location of the thoughts and where I "heard" his words. Owl |
