you go? at window's witness,
in slow motion, the ballerina
takes a fall, and Summer's
charms now tumble down

Hot, humid where I am, but still - fall is in the air, the leaves on the ground and the songs of birds.

So very beautifully expressed, dear EmmaRose! There is indeed this grace in the falling of a leaf, it mitigates the melancholy that accompanies the moment.
