Somewhere A school bus passes by, People walk their dogs, Unattended grass yellows, Trees grow older And man grows poorer. Somewhere there's a man With a bag of cans and bottles With a haggard shirt And a cheery smile. Someplace Somewhere He is called The sole survivor Yes The soul survivor. |

Hah! There have been times in my life that I felt that way about myself. Nice bit of gritty musing, ponderthepoetorrsx, ~*~ I don't have to eat sarcasm to recognize the flavor. ~*~ |

I was watching someone pick cans and thought of true resiliency |

Superb, Richard, in every imaginable way – including how you honed it with minimalistic art, married so sensitively to its content, the latter speaking of the beauty of your heart and soul. Owl |
