If you thought this was your last Monday,
Would you make it the best?
(This is question number one,
On Toerag's silly test).

If you had the opportunity,
Would you change the things you've done?
(This is question number two,
Go recheck number one).

Are you going to do a worthwhile thing
For someone that's in need?
Think about it carefully,
(It's question number three).

Have you hugged your kids or called your folks,
Kissed your mate at your front door?
If none-above then skip this one,
(That's question number four).

Have you stopped and smelled a rose today?
Did it make you think and sigh?
If not then stop and do it now
(Don't answer number five)

If you answered all the questions,
With "No I haven't yet"
Then change your day-retake this test,
Or a "zero's" what you get.

Balladeer tried to cheat on this test but as usual had the right answers but for the wrong questions. He hugged a rose, smelled the things he'd done and the only thing he changed was his underwear afterwards.

Dear Toerag, here you are, what a surprise ... that makes this Monday special for Pip!

Your questioning is presented with a touch of humour, but it is very wise. It's good to ponder these questions often!

Great work and thank you for the smiles!

I do smell the roses ... but no doubt have to work on many other things.

Well, lookie here what the cat dragged in! LOL (Good Dixie, Good Colin! LOL) What a treat it is to see your name on here - and what great advice you've written. Opportunities pass all too quickly and regrets are poor companions.

This is a wonderful reminder of what really matters, Toe. You've got me checking my list and making a vow to correct a few oversights on this end.  Very much enjoyed this, thank you for the smiles!

Best wishes,
/Kit

Toe,

I came in to smile, but ended up smiling for reasons that I did not expect.  I love this poem - it IS a great reminder to just stop and take time for what is really important in our lives.

Thank you and I am so happy to see you back.  Don't be gone so long.

I will not let another day go by without
saying how much I've missed reading the
PIP pages.
There are a few things I haven't done on your list Mr Toerag, but I plan on taking care of that.
Enjoyed your Quiz

Great to see you here Toe.  I'd take your test but I never learned how to read.     Seriously, these are questions we all could stand to ask ourselves moreover and more often.  Too often we let the demands of life dictate how we spend every minute of every day, and forget the truly important things.  I give you an "A" on this realization.

Great lesson for the young ones Toe, but this ole gal has those questions down pat.  I finally figured out life is all about the love you give to others, and not much else really.  I think maybe that love is the one thing we can take with us, and also leave for those left behind.   Deep huh?  Great to read you again.

Toerag tried to take this test
But he was doomed to fail.
He would have only had a chance
If it were done in Braille!

The bad penny returns! Of course, with inflation, he's a half-penny now. Good to see you back, lugnut!
