she was sucking the moon's essence
with her eyes
wide open
inhaling the substance
generational catalyst
when remembrance is the evaluator
when she was through
with the mystic moon
she turned to me
she appeared to be a tattered Raggedy Ann
her arms and legs
knotted, old and warted
lips pooched out
in a lewd caricature of amour
lassoing me with an indivisible lasso
making believe
she held me captive
she smirked
as I licked her peppermint candy house
she opened the door
bade me enter
said, you'll better understand
when the oven is turned on
