Herewith this sorrow I hope to exclude Straight from a heart that was forced to conclude That love is a business that love is a tool A tool to be used to carve, dig and remove. Therewith this sorrow I hope to emerge Straight from my marrow that was forced to concur That lust is a purchase that lust is a game A game to be used to shake, shook and restrain. Wherewith this sorrow I hope to ensure Straight from the core that was forced to insure That life is a joke that life is a gag A gag to be used to bind, strap and rehash. eric Martinez 2013 |

Okay, Eric, you have given us a primer on what is and what isn't about the emotions our hearts play in the arena of romance. You are a good poet. ~*~ If they give you lined paper write sideways. ~*~ |

Eric, I have come back to read this several times and really like it. I, too, like the flow and I think the construction is interesting. Like this one a lot! Alison |
