It's raining today
in my heart,
as I try to catch
the warmth of the sun
and contemplate
the losses of this world ...
And how to fit in.

Writing about it helps. It sure helped me. I'm with you in your struggle.

the juxtaposition of nature and loss provides some solace I find, as in your heart's rain.  Hoping you will find comfort

Thank you Jerry. I can't  stop thinking about Karen(Serenity) and wishing I could have been of help... We have shared in so many losses.

I never knew her, but hopefully she will herself make your path toward feeling right about yourself. You have to know she doesn't feel you neglected her.

Dear Maureen, your words are very poignant. It is all so very very sad ...
I am sure Karen knew and knows of our love.

Maureen,

I had not heard about Karen when I first read your poem, and still it got to me.  I am thinking of you.  You are a wonderful friend to so many here, and share such a history - I know it is like losing a family member.

Thinking of you.

It was just so sudden  and there are so many of my pip friends gone too soon. When I first came here they were my support system as are many of you and through words gave me the strength to be where I am today.

Thanking all of you while  I am able to ...for one never knows~~

I  still have my last email conversation with Karen on the first page of my emails... she opened her heart to me  and I miss the chance to have met in person.

Surviving,

That's what they call us in obituaries.  Because that's what it feels like.  Just surviving.

The world, without blazey, has reached a whole new level of suck Mo, but I still smile when I see you.

PG, so many sad thoughts lately.

Gale, too many wonderful poets and friends leaving too early.

Local Rebel, "suck" is definitely the right word for now. And I so appreciate that you stopped by to read and respond. It brings a smile to my face, too.

Thank you.
