Aryana's Song Suddenly I see the sunlight inching it's way across my windowsill so effortlessly it murders the night and this ennui inside me has been stilled but no mere lucky ol' sun can make my day feel so true no, no I'm not me until I gaze upon the presence of you And the rain has cleared it all away the things that weighed heavily on my soul and I've been steadily making my way to get to the end of a love left in the cold to just find a little glimmer of light in the endless grey oh yes and with you here, I seem to have found the day Now these songs I've been penning like I'm panning gold from rivers of dreaming they stumble into imperfect rhyming but still I try to mean every little thing it's never quite what I want it all to be and never could my words match the way you beam oh yeah, yeah like when you smile that perfect smile at me And your eyes have cleared my heart of dusty remnants of love left alone to die my feelings so often been torn apart lighting candles against a hurricane lie still, it's been worth a little darkness to discover in you the exactly perfect lifetime lover for me Yes, suddenly I see sunlight where once there were tears streaming down a face that hasn't felt true in years oh no no but every dashed hope is blooming once more brighter than ever before for the first time I feel my heart can do no wrong and it's all because of you so I guess that's why I'm writing you this song just my simple way of saying to you today my soul is feeling bright and new yes it's true, I love you and everything you do "Heaven is paved with broken glass, |
