When a man loses his father does he begin to realize that the age of life is rather bashful in its revelation of what eventually happens Even a grown man can still cry the tears of a young boy when his father passes because its the first bank of snow you remember sitting on his lap, legs open, small frame on his right leg or the story he told you of how he grew as a child in his foreign land. He was your first idol icon, celebrity in the pool of look a likes for he scarified he bled went for his dreams even if his insecurities were there When a grown man loses his father he is still that young boy scraping his knee, treading the shallow water alongside his tall, lanky frame Its your blood the man that showed you the tree of life and put his hands on you soil of the land for tears will flow because youth never lasts forever. |

This...this is beautiful. It really does touch one's heart, and lets the tears flow. -Trina |

the poet is truly blessed to feel such eternal admiration for his first hero. I know this well through my own eternally youthful eyes as I think of my own Dad, now gone. |
