Fair to middlin' of nowhere

Last night on the bike ride home I remembered this poem. I thought I'd share it with you again.

It was the kind of night
On the right road
Where the full moon
Feels the heat rise
From more than just
The asphalt
You can’t find
Enough skin
To offer the wind
To erect
Goose ink bumps
And other things
Skin to skin

"You can't find enough skin to offer the wind"

What a great feeling that is, to go along with the images placed in mind.  Think it's time for a ride myself.  Thanks for the inspiration.

"It was the kind of night
On the right road"

This reminds me of the times where a run feels.. right. Effortless and perfect.

Anytime Michael! My pleasure. Around here lately it feels like when we are on the bike we are outrunning the heat, humidity and the mosquitos! And the moths are so thick sometimes at night they look like big snowflakes comming at you! Which makes me appreciate his windshield and the fact he sits higher than me.

Seems I completely missed the image you were portraying. Everybody else got it. Duh.
