Fair to middlin' of nowhere

0 posted 2013-08-24 10:43 AM

Lost my mind yesterday
it was one of those
crazy kind of
catch yourself coming
and going
head spinng
kind of days
Woke up this morning
with a chip
on my shoulder
Must be that piece
of mind I'm missing
Snapping heads off
like a precision pruner
I really need
that peace of mind
to come back to me
willy -nilly
I swear to goodness
my grumptitude
make me wants to
slap someone silly

Heh.Heh You'll get that peace of mind back, writing this poem will help you in that quest.

Yes it did help. I took my attitude out on the house and did some cleaning. Yes, I did housework willingly.  Hard to believe, huh?!

Here Lori, have a snickers.  You're not the same when you're hungry... and we all know you love chocolate.     Seriously though, I can relate to my being grumpy only adding to the grumpiness.  I hate when I get like that.

Oh Michael, Thank you for the comercial referance, there is a Diva implication in there somewhere.

Thanks for the read!

I have had those days and I have to agree with Michael.  Snickers go a long way to cure Grumpitude (love the word, by the way).

Alison and Karilea, My daughter has a ball cap that reads " Forget love!  I'd rather fall in chocolate!"  There are days I should wear that hat like a warning label.

Thanks ladies

Emma
I think you would be my anti-venom!
It is like some days I get so tired of hearing the kids drop F-bombs I want to let one fly myself.
You alway s brighten my day.

James do I detect a hint of road rage?
I drove in Oklahoma once and got passed by a sports car on an off ramp on the highway. After I recovered from having the bejesus scared out of me I felt like doing some silly slapping but they were long gone...
