Shadows linger just over my shoulder, your breath heavy with judgement. Disappointment lines the features of your face, cold. A dictator revolting within, restricting freedom. War, engulfed between right and wrong. The point, lost. Children grow older, decisions set before them. Adulthood. Our love, restricted. Ball and chain, prisoners of your selfishness. |

A predicament and lifestyle all too common in the love affairs, marriages. Confinement does not necessarily mean behind bars and prison, emotional barriers can make you a prisoner within your own home. This was very well written ~*~ Haunted French pancakes give me the crepes. ~*~ |

Self-absorbed we fail to recognize life is not all about us. Blind we miss the joy of celebrating our differences missing the point that the ones we don't like are meant to grow our own character. Well done Kellie. Well done. If tears could build a stairway and memories a lane, |

Powerful, poignant words. I know how distressing looking into eyes like that can be. Wishing you some brighter eyes to look into. Michael |
