October 2011 I held onto the deepest part of me Unafraid and spectacularly liberated I retired hate from my life Sans one Found love evermore I rose from the gutter of my soul And my burden of regret I laid on myself Took a deep breath Of the Safe Haven I had found I did it myself without the need for prayer Surprised myself at the strength I found within Surprised but undaunted I turned my eyes to Heaven's way And with tolerance in my heart I absolved the Almighty ©August 3, 2013 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ Haunted French pancakes give me the crepes. ~*~ |
