Why try to bring back pleasure, Of the past, n'er again? Never again hold that treasure, Where for real or your pen. Look ahead where the future lies, Walk briskly to your chance; And not to moan, neither to cry. When you're there take your stance. Ahhh, I've given up on the past, I've made my bed to sleep, I have no need the past to ask, I've buried it all; deep. ©July 29, 2013 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ What do you call a dinosaur with a extensive vocabulary? Good morning Jerry. My friend I don't care how deep you bury it, it works it's way to the surface somehow, someway, someday. But you already know that. Lori [This message has been edited by Lori Grosser Rhoden (08-04-2013 07:47 AM).] |

fine 'write!' The 'past' is irrevocable, the 'future' as yet powerless to be born, we have only the 'now' of infinite potential with which to paint the world in bright, delicious colors. |
