Tonight |
Kaoru

Tonight we ran. We ran our hands through the wind, and braided the night. The satellites blink like fireflies, the stars blend and melt in the sky. Tonight we sang. We sang old songs we thought we had forgotten, and we rewrote them until they blurred into the thin line between our voices and the faded cricket chirps. Tonight the cool air felt like the touch of autumn, and we ran we ran right through it. |
