.

The green tops
Of those summer trees
Are still

The sky
Is a cloudy blue
I feel no urge
To move

Doing nothing
Using my own eyes
Taking in
The waning hour

And you’re there
Though not of course
In any great detail

A soul distilled
From all that never
Ever really mattered

How beautiful
You are in this dusk light
Gazing back
From where you are

Gorgeous poem....  indeed your words shine so bright and compliment her own special star.

Huan Yi - Sometimes it's just so very nice to be transfixed by a moment that soaks you in. It takes the poet to put it in words. Much enjoyed. Namyh

I like this one; I read it a few times and each time new thoughts came to mind.

Dear John,
I am very sad as I have just read Essorant's post saying that you have moved on ... this poem of yours is truly most poignant also imagining you now in the light too ...

Love and Peace and Light.
