velvet Summer twilight
the moon is a jewel
in the spider's web

daybreak
swirling with the fog___

the ‘voice’ of wilderness

soft Summer sunset
silence and shadows
awaiting moonlit dreams

first gentle breeze
willows dancing
in the morning twilight

yellow mountain pines
sound of a waterfall
Appalachian fantasy

a loon’s cry
parts the silence
moon on the water

‘endless’ mountains
ancient forest oaks
Deep-Time sentinels

If I cut the wildflowers
or kill the bee
my spirit wanes

from the loneliness
joy is the phoenix
for you have come

much of life
already lost
we meet___

why now?!

more lovely than
the breath of Spring___
your heart and spirit

Your visuals really do come to life..if only for a fleeting moment.....they are beautiful.

Excellent, Bruce. You capture your surroundings so eloquently. Nice writing.
