All Time Lover

I want to remember
how it felt
to touch you
and surely I will
for the rest of my life
because you touched my heart
softly, touch by touch
as gentle as a butterfly
softer than the morning dew
and now my heart
has the desire
for a lifetime
of me and you.

JamesM - I do so enjoy a poetic work that has an intrinsic sweetness of its own as this one no doubt has. Makes me remember other times. Thanks for the memories JM. Namyh
