you keep me
up past midnight
grabbing at velvet
skipping stars

I am the dragon
forming from the mists
woven
through your secret dreams
in search
of passion's fire

can I believe
in the water
in my hand
flow of clear
the slip
the tender drip

I am the forest
the scent
of ancient mysteries
the moonlight
trickled
on the path
that led you
to this
deep sweet pool

I could be
ballet shoes
and you
could be music
in the air

I am the breeze
a comfortable disguise
storm's simple leading edge
skipping
in lazy circles
belying the power
of the skies
lightly
filling the song bird's
life
with gentle melodies

we could dance
fluid movements
I stand
on my toes
to reach you

I am the wind
tearing
at the trees
swirling in place
laughing
in paroxysms
of elemental passions
where earth
and wind
collide

I am so sad to hear the news today.  Our slick lady was a beautiful poetess.  She had a way of softening the rough edges of her poetry with so much style and class.  She was silk and satin and the softest leather all gift wrapped into one.  .  You two wrote so well together.  Thank you for sharing a part of her here.  She was always so kind.  Bless her dear dear heart... She was very special.

Wonderful duet, dear Charly. Thank you so much for sharing it in this very sad moment of Helen's transition.

Hugs.

.

Helen's talent
was for making each of us nearby
wish to address an unknown beloved
speaking in poetry to that
mysterious anonymous who despite
all yet the faith remained that
he or she was there . . .
It was her faith
