Gone To See Anthony
(In Memory of 1slick_lady)

My heart beats slowly
My breath comes shallow
I touch the place on my chest
where my soul
withers in pain

Another part of me
is gone

and

I

cry

with more

than mortal

pain

yet I smile
knowing
she's with Anthony now

Look up, Oh ye of the world,
and feel the breeze from their wings. . .

Poignant words you offer here, dear Jimmy. I remembered Helen's poem about Anthony, it tugs at my heartstrings even now, but as you say I trust she will see him again now up there.
