It has been a LONG time since I have been here, I hope everyone has been well and that you all enjoy a poem I wrote in 2010 (Haven't really wrote anything new sadly) All I have is fear of the future Just hoping I can keep trying to stay pure Hoping one day I can find the real me Hopefully it's not at the top of the highest tree I live day by day wishing for the best Yet knowing I will have to deal with all the rest Most don't realize how hard it is to go through this So they just sit by and shake their fists They tell me to figure out my life While all I can do is try to ignore all the hype But in my heart I know I can't take the easy path I can only keep looking for that perfect scythe With which I can carve my own story Within this field of history |
