I heard that. Once my wife and I had a bad argument/fight. With her insistent urging I left and planned on spending the night and maybe a few days in a hotel. I went to the bank to draw out some money and she arrived before I could get it and tried to empty the account. I was inside and she was at the drive-up. The bank refused both our request. We met. Talked. Decided to split what was in the bank. In two days we were back together. Still, it just shows what people will do in the heat of an argument. We never split up again and was together until January 2009 when she passed away.

I'm glad the bank refused you both, Jerry. That is the first time that I have ever heard of a bank willingly or unwillingly (or consciously or unconsciously) being a matchmaker!

I doubt it had ever happened there before either, Owl. But the timing was the deal. Both of us there at the same time. I was trying to withdraw $200 and she was going to close the account. They just wanted us to get together on everything.
