MELODY MAGIC 23 June 2013 The rain soft-drummed its soothing heartbeat in a lullaby hush of whispered peace on leaf and branch in the shadowed reaches of night’s grace; and she knew the refrain of its melancholy song and she sang along voicelessly in reverence of sweet, ancient sorrows fingering every moonlit note welcoming it into the corners of her frazzled soul; and harmony loosened and slow-flooded her taut frame and she became the vessel of rain’s serenade. Lovely thoughts on the magick of rain and deep whisper of the soul, Diana. Sure would love to see a little rain. It is very hot and dry here. Ida |

Thank you for living my poem so beautifully, Ida. We haven't had terribly much here, either, but then it is winter and our rain falls mainly in summer (except the geographically Mediterranean region of the Western Cape - that is, an area around Cape Town). I wish I could send you some, though, lol! Owl |

You have painted the beauty into this dark piece just as there is beauty in the nocturnal world. Excellent. Lori |

rain's serenade in its many tempos is one of nature's many gifts to us. You are a wise Owl to harken to its beautiful orchestra. |
