Yes

I’m watching the fluff of the cottonwood
It’s falling outside like snow
The violent wind’s rushing into my room
To give me his cruel “no”

And terrible thoughts burst into my mind
I have nothing more to say
The weather goes mad every time I find
I’m losing my way again

I’m coming to meet you through all my life
In spite of the mess and lies
And now that nightmare, the shattering knife
It’s flashing before my eyes

The shine on the floor, I wait for your flight
I can not forecast the cause
You look at me blindly and you pass me by
And I realize the worst

Oh, what’s going on, I would like to get!
Though still our ties are strong
My fears are naught as compared to that
It’s clear that something is wrong

I know you can see my soul inside out
And how could I ever guess
That even in case I call you and shout
You won’t recognize my face

So chances may come and years may pass
I have nothing more to do
Like Alice behind her renowned looking-glass
I must run away from you

And if I can’t break the transparent wall
Arisen between us now
The ground may be rough, the tears may roll
I’ll check if the Earth is round

At random I’m choosing my hazy road
And maybe the stars will bless
I wish you to find me! I’m praying God
To hear his gracious “yes”

I sense there is an inner struggle going on here, our emotions are a powerful thing indeed.

Good job, nice write, and welcome to the blue sea, Gale.

I love the way you blend Nature and your emotions and your soul, Galina.  This is a beautiful poem.

Thanks for reading, Diana!
It's not just poetry )
They are blended somehow through all my life.
Either it's only a coincidence or I'm so meteo-sensitive, or there is something else, but my friends often joke that my mood is like a barometer: if it's falling down - take out your umbrellas
As for me, I think it's because in my childhood we've made friends with nature, and so we are like kindred spirits.
Such a fantasy

I don't know how I missed this, Gale. Yes! To all your wondering and the active searching within as you try to make the scales weigh each stanza with a . . . YES!

As long as the wall is transparent, things can be handled, as you and you alone are the master of your world.

Excellent wording. Welcome to Pip, dear Galina.
