don't ask me why but it reminds me
of a friend I long ago lost touch with
such a sexy instrument, the sax
when I hear it moan
often I wonder
how he is
and if he is
smiling

the leaves lift to the life sustaining light
welcome
I sit and soak in the green
this is one place
where I can reiterate
the residents care not that I find no solutions
no the greenhouse doesn't to mind
my redundancy

Hi, beaniebaby! I totally agree with you on the saxophone. It definitely is sexy to the nth. That friend of yours? Let us hope that, yes, he is smiling and thinking of you.

Lost within the world of the greenhouse has to be a solitude worthy of deep thinking and wondrous thoughts.

am forcing myself to get thoughts on paper, however incomplete, it seems of late if I write at all, I write in my head, when not near paper, and then once its done, I just seem to let it slip away...sigh

Enjoyed both of these, as you've expressed, 'pieces of you' and I thought both the moan of the sax and the 'welcome' of the greenhouse where lovely analogies and, here, again, I'll say like the greenhouse, Welcome!
