A jagged heart
Carved in the bark
The name is blank --
Your secret dreamā€¦

I wish to wake you
But the weir is deep
My armor cannot shed
-Symbiotic baggage-

But what good is air
When the heart is empty --
Welcomes the deep
A foolish knight

You tossed an anchor
Now drag me along
As I dredge the silt
Of my conscienceā€¦

I like this.  It made me stop and think and read again and again. It met my melancholy.

Yeah, this one gets right down in there to the nitty-gritty.  Enjoyed!
