      Time Passages

Just beyond the kiss of
  twilight,
in these heady days and
hours of transformation,
a pure and wondrous
  sunrise
bids a fond farewell
to  the soft and gentle
pastel land of Spring,
passing ever so subtly
to the vibrant, verdant
green and golden
bounty of a Summer
  world …
The ‘poetry’ of this
resplendent Earth
shall never die!

Whoa!! We haven't really had the touch of spring around here, still cool to cold in the morning. Still, your wording was beautiful.

You hear the song, dear Bruce, and render it beautifully.

I do hope you're right, Bruce.  Enjoyed!

Reading your poem is much like seeing a painting in pastels.  So beautiful that it makes me hurt a bit.
