in my mind there is a place as close to me as Savoie's Swamp hidden in misty tomorrows this place sits beside the slow running bayou of forgiveness you are there your dress pulled up mid-thigh ankle deep, hair highlighted by the sun outlining your long, graceful legs you look up catch me watching you you smile I walk toward you saying, I told you I'd come back, sha ©April 14, 2013 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ How does Moses make his tea? Wow, Jer... the "place" you write of seems so much more envyable than the place I wrote of today. quote:I love that! Michael |

Thanks, Michael, I haven't read your poem today, been busy all day. Going there after I thank you again for stopping in my part of the world. I know you don't write about the world as I do, although I have my dark moments. ~*~ How does Moses make his tea? Hebrews it. ~*~ |

Thanks for allowing us to share in a bit of voyeurism with you, and, I agree, this 'place' this 'bayou of forgiveness' where you have taken us and where you have been taken back (two meanings) is a very enjoyable place. |

Yes indeed, Bob, it is a good one and my thoughts wander there off and on. Good thoughts to have I must say. Thank you for being here. ~*~ How does Moses make his tea? Hebrews it. ~*~ |

Yeah, you're right, James, welcome to Savoie's Swamp, and thank you. ~*~ I stayed up all night to see where the sun went. Then it dawned on me. ~*~ |
