He wore his sleeves as if they were dimes passing through his corduroy pockets meaning to pass time with an older merchant who he will soon come to pass His hair was a bit rugged curls through whirls riding the great canyons as if they were swirls in the skies great canvass raptures opening continuously stacking over one another The boys a dreamer he rides through the Alabama dirt roads with a picture in his mind of a beautiful brunette named Serena chatting away at his backbone like they had seen each others eyes before but rather come to an impasse of whether it was time to say hello or merely wait until a more forgiving lazy Sunday to appear His brown, ankle high boots levi jeans at the tongue of them with his white tee riding freely over his tan shaded belt This boys dreaming through the countryside maybe the air will let him stay younger for a bit longer but time isn't always going to be on his side Dreaming of the big lights just past the milky way that he stares at every night he dreams until the eggs and bacon waft through his room by the morning light his mind always racing towards the city lights Bama' always tugging at his heart. |

Your poem was was kind of like reading a bit of American nostalgia. Very detailed. Very picturesque. Enjoyed! |
