Fairground Attraction Can Love be like a Carousel Forever spinning round And if it stops, should we get off And stand on solid ground Cacophony of sound I hear Kaleidoscope I see White stallions to run the race But never will run free With reins held tight, and flanks to grip I chase you to the tune But ev'ry time my hands reach out I lose my grip too soon Forever more this endless chase Why merry to go round Until the organ stops its beat And quiet is all around And now the horses stop this race They are not tired at all And slowly as the lights go out It is your name I call Another day,an empty field Attractions now have gone The Carousel to turn no more Is this the race you won |

Sometimes it definitely feels like a carousel; that often times switches directions without warning. I enjoyed this metaphor. |
