Since Lighthousebob double dogged dare me, I am tinkering with tanka.
I'm not a religious person, but this came to mind as I was trying to start the poem.

The Old Rugged Cross
Place of the skull, Golgotha
On Calvary hill;
Some put their faith in his death
And resurrection that came.

Say wha???? Wha cha mean you can't do Tanka! You got da ol' Lighthouse beamin' with dis one! I'm thinkin', maybe, it was dat ol' Easter bug dat bit ya or sumptin! Maybe? Enjoyed. Really, I enjoyed it, a lot!

Thanks, Bob, I've been waiting on ya. I know you would tell me the truth and I feel like you did and I thank you for that. Yeah I'll be doing a few more now that I feel comfortable with the structure of the poem. Thanks Bobareno . . .
