Sleep cannot be bought by riches May be using pills, it may be had But, real peace, it never fetches Sleeplessness makes one damn mad As due to that, happiness ditches A sleep deprived soul feels bad Wonder is this sleep in this World Sender has got this in body's fold Lender of holy sleep is God untold In case sleep is missed by some one Misery and worry will then surround Peace cannot be by that someone won His mind will soon turn very unsound Journey to gloom will be surely begun He will enter into the burial ground. mvvenkataraman |

I relate to the destructiveness of the lack of sleep. I fought that devil for abut ten years. These days, with the aid of modern medicine and two glasses of cheap California burgundy, I sleep very well. ~*~ I changed my iPod name to Titanic. It's syncing now. ~*~ |

An older and much wiser person than I once told me that she had no problems sleeping because she lied so well. Anyways, enjoyed your poem. |
