The Notion

She jumped from her blue BMW
wearing the red Marlyn Monroe dress
that I wouldn't buy her
seeming quite content
with the way that it fit
saying "See, aren't you sorry now
that you wouldn't buy the dress for me."
I told her "Not at all.", but I was
sure pleased with the notion
that she had.
