Risen Rejoicing triumphs of the friend for whom the angels sing, a bright and golden glow ascends the azure blue of spring tiptoeing first on purple peaks with streams of luminance that catacombs of snow should melt into the seed of dance. Transforming mellow sounds of pause in daffodil domains, a princely breeze of fruitfulness sets free the grassy plains in longing warmth of nightingale and joyful sparrow songs that pass beyond the pearly gates to where the soul belongs. |

Each and every line is simply beautiful Bob. A beautiful Easter poem it is. Thank you for posting. It was very hard to pick out my favorite line as I loved them all. ~Victoria |

Ah, yes indeed, this is a stunning poem commemorating the coming Easter day, Bob. Quite beautiful were your chosen words to fulfill the poem with deep meaning. ~*~ I changed my iPod name to Titanic. It's syncing now. ~*~ |

Thanks Victoria and Jerry... I really do appreciate both of your comments. Easter is a special time for my family and I and, so, um, yeah, I pretty much spent most of the day molding this one. Again, I'm so happy you both liked it. Thank you. |

What a magnificent and beautiful poem in every possible sense and aspect, so worthy of the very crux (pun intended) of Christianity! My favourite part is the whole poem. However, there were 3 lines that I want to quote as my favourite, favourites lines – but then the other 5 lines are just as much my favourites, though a little more subtly. OK, so you want to know which those 3 lines are and I want to tell you. They are: “that catacombs of snow should melt into the seed of dance” and “a princely breeze of fruitfulness sets free the grassy plains” and “in longing warmth of nightingale and joyful sparrow songs” but that’s not fair because, I love the others just as much, in a different way. Hey, James... You snuck right in there and I didn't even notice until now! Thanks for reading and for your reply. Oh, Owl... "Crux", hah, you're such a hoot! What delightful and Eastereal (ethereal), don't get me going, accolades you've given my poem. Thank you! Thank you so much! You've made my day! Really! |
