Tankas: Danke for this Day! In the parking lot Stalled at a ticket machine Reading instructions, "Just stick it in the window!" Yelled the woman, hair of white. Her blunt reaction To "I'm going to see 'Oz'" being "Such a child" Sparked my frequenting Rosine's Lemon meringue before lunch. At the matinee Watching coming attractions With 3-d glasses, My wife's didn't work. "Too dark" She groaned, then saw zebra print. |

Thanks Victoria and Jimmy... I appreciate both of your replies. It does appear that a person sees things a bit more strangely when they mix up 3-d glasses with their sunglasses! |

How'd I miss this? Well Thanks to Alison bringing it up front and center, I'm on board now. Loved how you begin the Tanka's, it was almost as good as the ending. ~*~ PMS jokes aren't funny, period. ~*~ |

Enjoyable reading, Bob. You should have have known better than to think you could actually stop to read directions this day and age. Michael |

Thank you, Alison, Jerry, Michael, Ida, Bruce, and Kit... Funny how it seems like it was so long ago when I wrote this one. It was when the new release of the movie "Oz" was still playing at the theater. WoW! Yep, that was a good day and, yep, that elderly lady was a real trip and talking to her was a kick. My wife and I took that day off to be alone in Monterey. It was her birthday. Very, very nice. If you haven't seen it, the movie is really worth seeing in 3-D. However, I probably won't be buying it to watch on my regular TV. Anyways, Gals and Guys, Thanks so much for bringing this one back up and allowing Me to once again be Thankful for that day! Thanks, again, to Everyone! |
