inside of me there is a hard ache as though it was a quarry stone it is buried deep the memory stone I cannot will not wage war to oust it and so it just reposes there and taunts me berates me for the dunce I was still am anyone who looks into my eyes cannot help but see happiness conjoined with pain my thoughts seen through my eyes tell a sad tale never mind glimpses of cheerfulness playing out like a dreadful story somehow she metamorphosed and attached herself to me it is real it is surreal I loved her I lost her she is here with me now and forever Nanette ~*~ Go to Heaven for the climate, Hell for the company. ~*~ [This message has been edited by paderewski (11-13-2013 07:33 AM).] |
