Dost thou savor thoughts of thy memories, and the sayonara tears in mine eyes; of flawless skin and soft lips of cherries, whilst watching ambience of the dawn rise. Hast fingertips touched invisble skin; each time thee remembers thou were mine. Tasting sweet thoughts of velvet within, whilst sachet breeze feels like sunshine. Dost thou seek thy whisper within the trees; as emerald leaves serenade the moonlight. 'Tis kiss of thy lips art like a sea breeze; gently sealed within the darkness of night. T'was more than a yesteryear ago henceforth, memories shalt tarry and glow. I was adored once too. |

Love the last line, Victoria, it was perfect for the poem. Like the rest of the poetry it too was unable to put a "period;" a final stopping place for the memories. ~*~ If they give you ruled paper write sideways . . . ~*~ |

The style definitely gives your words the feeling of long long ago and I especially like... quote: ...because it instills the notion that the presence of whatever token or lingering memory taken out still warms the heart. Very nice. |
