Everyday Every so many hours Everywhere around the world Someone is violated And they never say a word Maybe you would have listened Believed But sometimes I didn't even believe me Everyday And besides You believing would have made it worse More terrible Real Every so many hours Maybe it wasn't that bad It all happened so long ago And I'm ok now Everywhere around the world I still dream about it sometimes Still feel guilty Like I'm the one who did something wrong Someone is violated And the questions can still make my stomach hurt The sound of your voice makes me angry And I hate you But I can't And they never say a word Because you're family Tell someone "I'll tell you how the sun rose A ribbon at a time..." - Emily Dickinson [This message has been edited by MorningStar (08-16-2013 06:17 PM).] |

Thank you very much for reading, hearing, and commenting. It's such a personal, terrible subject that most people don't dare to say anything - or even know what to say. So I truly appreciate you. Aenea "I'll tell you how the sun rose |
