With Your Hands

How do you do dishes?
With your hands.
How do you drive to work?
With your hands.
How do you plant a garden?
With your hands.
How do you clean house?
With your hands.
How do you mend broken bones?
With your hands.
How do you sew a qilt?
With your hands.
How do you massage an aching back?
With your hands.
How do you show someone you care?
With your hands.
How do you soothe a shattered spirit?
With your hands.
How do you spell the words you can not say?
With your hands.
How do you comfort a child who needs you?
With your hands.
How do you iron clothes?
With your hands.
How do you make coffee?
With your hands.
How do you make dinner?
With your hands.
How do you make a bed?
With your hands.
How do you make love?

With my hands I type this poem;
With my hands I’ll read your own.
So lets do it, you and me,
Like, who else needs to know?
Let’s do it,
With our hands.
