Ceaseless Snow

It snowed ceaselessly for days
In all its divine white, Alpine forms

Small speckled shimmering silver flecks
tiny little near miniature snowballs
Big fat, tlusty cat flakes

On and on
More and more
outside every window
falling before
every door

And yet as each and everyone sat
Settled to the cold cool ground
They silently muddled, into tiny wet puddles

Not near a one stuck
To hold its cross crystalline craft

It was as the if the Earth
was rejecting God's will.

I can see that. It does seem that it can be that way, a good perception of yours

You describe the beauty of the moment quite well and it's great that you don't have to shovel it but, I still prefer the moment, when it comes, as a loved one washes our face with a handful of fresh fallen snow.

I truly enjoyed the read and the images provided, but I have to know, what are "tlusty cat flakes?" A new vocab you've created?

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

The poem was beautiful, felt like I was living in the moment. It's been snowing, raining and hailing around here. All the while melting snow, turning into ice rinks on every corner. We'll be seeing 6in's by tomorrow..however I do love the ceaseless snow as well as your poetic words.

Thanks everyone... The word "tlusty" (pronounced tloooosty" means fat. Fat cat flakes
