ghostly jumbled mass dark, stolid tombstones impressive 'neath pale white moon tall trees silvery Spanish moss winterized, bare of leaves moonlight comforted ancient cemetery a resting(?) place for hundreds of ended lives within moon shadows two lovers hidden from inquisitive eyes adding sexual funnery as he bequeaths the seed and she obligingly conceives a new life in the land of the dead ©January 30, 2013 / Jerry Pat Bolton ~*~ A non-writing writer is a monster courting insanity.--Kafka ~*~ |

Well this is different but you paint such a vivid picture of those bayou type cemeteries that I have seen on TV. Im sure they hold secrets of night visitors. NIcely done Jerry. ~Victoria |

Nice! Provokes thoughts of life and death. Often I drive by land that used to be a drive-in theater,and wonder how much new life was conceived there. Loved the poem. Keep writing. |
