I forgot to put in the url to see which photo this was written for. It's here: http://apod.nasa.gov/apod/ap120801.html Please see before reading piece below. Towering sentinels Dwarfed by the heavens Surrounded by misty fogs Silently pause in awe What creature Would not marvel the scene? What sound Would dare to speak? And yet the sun begins its rise Slipping into day As light encroaches The panorama of serenity Surely the world Will begin to stir No matter the consequence Or loss of exquisiteness Reptilian creatures Rodent beings Clicking insects Will bring sound to this desert The loss, Only temporary, As coyotes roam, then sleep The stars will creep anew Light and promise Will arch the skies God holds eternity Securely in His grasp. Whether on the shoal or on the shore, I'll seek the lighthouse evermore. |

What creature Would not marvel the scene? What sound Would dare to speak? Virginia you described it well...beautiful, as the photo of the milky way. Nicely done. ![]() ~Victoria |

Thank you all for your encouragement; it is wonderful to be read, is it not! Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |
