I wait for you upon the sands,
to float like driftwood back to me.
To feel your lips of heaven sent,
soft as moonlight upon the sea.
To warm my soul with touch of blush,
and undress needs with eyes of blue;
Whilst in arms of a midnight wind,
for this is all I ask of you.

'Tis your essence of musk I feed,
in the shadows of what is meant to be.
Upon dalliance of an orchid breeze,
'tis you in nakedness of night I see.
The blue lagoon within your eyes,
splashing over me like the tides.

Sensual in every respect, Victoria. The descriptive and sometimes almost wicked lines were a delight to read and to conjure images your words brought to mind. Very well done.

My, I'm glad you are always happy to hear from me "too." You'd think I had been away for quite some time. I'm just one of your old stand-byes . . .

That's so beautifully musical. Very lovely song of longing!

I've seen those blue eyes once or twice in my lifetime and also was swept away.
