Words on a Page I loved her so much, there was a piece missing in my life and she came to me and played the part until she left taking with her a piece of my heart. I know these are just words on a page but they tell a story of yearning and fulfillment of hopes and fears of love and acceptance of happiness and heartaches of love and heartbreak. James, to paraphrase Edward Bulwer-Lytton's well-known adage, words on a page blast louder than a bomb, for good or for evil. If only the world understood that there would be so much more peace and understanding in the world. I enjoyed your poem. Owl |

That's all we can do sometimes, James, is put words on a page. ~*~ If they give you lined paper, write sideways. ~*~ |

Words are powerful things, capable of inciting emotion, reflecting memory or dream... and sadly, sometimes to wrech the heart. This was a beautiful reflection. Michael |
