"The Cavalry Cry" Perhaps it was that moment of abstraction that clarified all things a moment to realize that nothing made any sense as he wrote line after line, in a sort of endless runic rhyme all in a feeble attempt to document perhaps clarify all these events and twists a joke made of oneself and in the end the poems will speak for themselves and to each about, and, every one, everyone spin spun the span, he began as he had begun, under the gun so many times, it all became do drab poetry bad, melancholy sad, SO... sew, We sow Victory!!! the only truth we know as the messages we pick up from the second heaven go... "Consider the source!!!", we say to ourselves listen to thosethese warriors, proclaimers of the cross the warmth power and truth we recognize and revalate as opposed to those who tease and exacerbate problems, confuse, tears confound and confuse "get behind me, Satan tester tempter and tease!" a kingdom you offer if brought to our knees ne, nay, neigh! We Slay with a pen, mightier than the sword a word proclaimed, we say with power, authori-tay claimed from, on High! enemies, mock, roll eyes and sigh lines drawn in the sand a division in discernment divisions divide a turn of the tide "Calvary cavalry ride!" songs sung power outages across the city, in tongues a battle, a mystery "something is being won!" |

We Slay with a pen, mightier than the sword In the beginning I thought of Picasso and his paintings... Trying to make sense of them was what made them so interesting. Enjoyed your words Martini. ~Victoria Love is a smoke made with the fume of sighs. |
